De'Longhi Mica Panel Heater HMP1500 review

$100–150Research-based· Last verified 2026-10-30

67/ 100

Verdict

A fanless micathermic panel that heats silently, so it's the one to run while you sleep or work in the same room. Reviewed and Bob Vila both measured it warming a room steadily, and Bob Vila confirmed its tip-over switch. The front panel gets hot, it's 27 in wide on its feet, and De'Longhi doesn't publish its warranty term on the product page.

Best for: Anyone who wants silent heat in the room where they sleep · Renters who can wall-mount it, or have a free stretch of wall to stand it against

67/ 100

Trust Score: 67/100 Fair

Confidence: Low (2 independent sources)

Reviewed · Methodology v1.1 · how we score

Why this score: Two independent tests agree it heats a room steadily, and De'Longhi has no CPSC recall in the last five years. De'Longhi gives a US address and has held its US trademark since 1982. It loses points because we couldn't verify a UL or ETL listing, the page lists no weight or materials, and we couldn't find this heater's warranty term or claim process.

Not hands-on tested. This score is based on public, verifiable evidence. Commissions never change a score.
