DREO Solaris 718 review
$100–150Research-based· Last verified 2026-10-30
Verdict
A slim 1,500 W tower heater with a digital thermostat in 1°F steps and a remote. Four independent hands-on tests agree it warms a small room quickly, and CNN Underscored measured it at 41 dB at its loudest. It's almost 30 in tall, and DREO's warranty is only one year.
Best for: Most studios and one-bedroom living rooms · Anyone who wants a quiet heater with a real thermostat and a remote

Why this score: Four independent hands-on tests agree it heats a small room quickly and quietly, and none reports a defect. DREO publishes full specs, materials and warnings, an address and a clear claim process. It loses 8 points because DREO recalled another heater in October 2026, 8 because we couldn't verify a UL or ETL listing in a public directory, and 3 for a 1-year warranty.
Not hands-on tested. This score is based on public, verifiable evidence. Commissions never change a score.
